I had my first DWI in Jan 2010 convicted 3yrs probation. It will be one year this September. My fines are paid, finished my classes and have my full license back.
Im on the 3rd level of good behaivor. How many levels are there anyway? Will they release me of probation in one year? Would I be pushy to ask the probation officer or my lawyer that did nothing for me to begin with. Will they show up at my door again even though I'm on good behavior? How long are they going to drag this out!

"drag it out" I guess being thankful you are no in jail for a serious violation of the law is asking too much.

But seldom do they release before 1/2 of the time and normally never consider it before 3/4 of the time is done.

And your lawyer represented you and made sure your conviction was done properly and that your rights were protected. If you are guilty and they have evidence to convict there is really nothing an attorney does except to be sure things are done properly
