OK I was subpost to be 8 weeks pregnet when I went in for my 8 week alutrsound my obgyn didn't see a baby just a sack and some flioud he said I could be having a misscarrage in a the same day he had me go to the hosptal and get blood drowed and the same thing for thusday to compare the two blood works when I went back in on Thursday he said my levels had droped witch could indcated a misscarrage but he says I should be bleeding and cramping trying to pass the baby but nothing has happened I have a other ultrsaound this coming wesday for a second look I have no signs of a misscarage is there any way that the doctors could be wrong and I'm just not as far along as they thing

It's possible. Ultrasounds are not nearly as accurate as doctors like to think, particularly this early. However, I'm assuming that at this stage, they are also going on the date of your last period when dating this pregnancy, so chances are that they are close enough. The blood tests should be more accurate.

I'm sorry, but it is very likely that you have lost this baby, and you just haven't passed the sac etc. Usually this happens quickly, but it can take up to two weeks for it to happen. You may prefer to go into the hospital for a D&C if you don't want to wait for Nature to take its course.
