OK so my natural hair colour is a medium ash brown and it was nice. I died it plum a while ago and soon it faded out and the roots of my hair faded to a bit of an orange. So then I died over it with a medium brown hopeing it would go back to the way it was. But in the sunlight you can still see the orange what should I do?

Note that I used semi permanent hair dye both times
I would really like my hair colour back :(
