I am a grandmother of 3 who cannot visit my grandchild unsuppervised until they have completed a courey check which has taken over a week. They took the children from my daughter and gave them to my 70 something year old mother that can't handle 2 small kids. How did they courey ckeck her so quickly and gave my oldest grandson to his father that been in jail at least 2 maybe 3 times. How did they get couried so fast?

What is a courey check? I can't find anything with that name.

How did someone's background check (if that is what you are asking) get completed and approved faster than yours? No one here knows.

Why did a father with a criminal record get custody of a child? None of us here know.

We need more info concerning your specific situation in order to answer you. Why do you have supervised visitation?

Typically, supervised visitation is not ordered unless the court feels that the party being supervised could potentially be harmful to the children. My concern here is that they felt the children were safer with a 70-year-old woman than with you - do you have a criminal history?

It's possible that the results of your check already came back and there was something that raised concerns, which is why you are not being allowed around the children at this point.
