I have a murray riding mower.. older one I think its 30inch cut.my son was riding it and it just stopped moving.I purchaced a belt.. the smaller one,and had a so called friend put it on for me.he come back and told me that the deck or drive belt was broke... I was attempting to replace the belt myself and in the process,I adjusted the dials that adjust the deck,I'm guessing that is what I did.. now it still won't go... help?

If you can get us the exact model number we my be able to get you a manual which will help get those stray belts back in line.

Sounds like the drive belt wasn't put on right,sometimes its not best to let friends work on things .I would contact some one else and have them look at it.
