Should I write a letter of apology to my ex fiancé?
We had a long distance relationship. He ended up lying and cheating on me and by the time I found out he was already getting close to another women who is now his girlfriend. Apparently he has a history of cheating and moving from one women to the next after about 3 years. Throughout the relationship I can now see that I made mistakes, like not making enough time for him, being too stuborn, independent. I can see now that I wasn`t enough for him but because we were once engaged I would just like to end things amicably. Do you think a letter of apology would be a good idea?

No. Why are you finding ways to blame yourself? You don't owe him any apologies.

Avoid him, and congratulate yourself for getting away.

Write the letter, write down everything you feel, your thoughts, everything... then burn it.

He's moved on, YOU are the injured party, YOU are the one who deserves a letter detailing the lousy cheating cur that he was.

Do not be ashamed of being independent, no apolige is needed for voicing an opinion. That's you, that's who you are, better that then a doormat for a serial cheater.

Everyone makes mistakes in relationships.

Now is the time for you, for moving on, you were engaged, he took that dream and battered it into the ground, I can't imagine how hurt you must have been.

Surround yourself with friends and family and thank your lucky stars that you dodged a bullet by not marrying him, and send up a thought for the next women he's going to hurt, but take heart, what goes around comes around and his karma is coming.

He was a lying cheater, he should be apologizing to you, not the other way around, and you should be mad as hell at him for lying and cheating, and mad at yourself for falling for the bum.

Why apologize to someone who's treated you like muck?

You dodged a bullet-work on rebuilding yourself esteem and move on.
