Moved to its own thread.

I met this woman on a dating website in the following way - she visited my profile and I wrote her a cheeky and complimentary message in return. She liked what I had written about her and so suggested we become Facebook friends. The relationship blossomed on Facebook and some weeks later, she surprised me by updating her status to being in a relationship with yours truly. We hit it off on the right footing.. right?
I should also mention that she lives in Texas and I live in the United Kingdom. We took steps to see each other in motion on skype. She liked me and I liked her. Things couldn't get much better from here. We made plans to see each other. Cutting a long story short, just as I was getting ready to buy the flight ticket, she fell into deep depression. BIPOLAR! A few weeks ago, she flirted with me, asked which sexual positions we might use, talked about marriage, "JUST PUT A BABY INSIDE OF ME" she used to tell me. Weeks later, she completely changed and would now say things such as "WE SHOULD REEVALUATE OUR ****" and "I NEED TIME". Now, she doesn't answer any of my emails, my phone calls. I stay heartbroken and we still haven't met!

She knows where you stand, so it's up to her to turn around. Unfortunately, if she's not responding to your attempts at contacting her, then leave her be until she's reading to contact you.

You're going to have to be patient. I'm sure that once she sorts things out, you will be the first she contacts.

She found someone else to flirt with, online, or in person. Maybe you should too, and accept this long distance, Facebook affair may well be over for now. You met her, there are plenty of fish in the Facebook sea.

This girl is a mess.

"Just put a baby inside me", and you've never even met? Wow, talk about moving fast.

I realize that in today's world many romances start online, but taking things slow is always advisable. This girl has shown you that she's all over the place, she's a flirt, she has no problem going from a friend to discussing marriage, sex, you getting her pregnant, then giving you the cold shoulder.

Run now. You're lucky that you've seen her true colors this early on.

I think you chalk this one up to experience.

She's got problems-and you're well off without a continuation of this online passion.

Call me oldfashioned, but I like to meet a potential date face to face-it makes for a better common ground when judge if the chemistry is there.
