So I am about a little over a week late for my period and there is no physical way I can be pregnant. I am twenty years old and 120 lbs and in the past year and a half I have lost 50 lbs. The brunt of my "dieting" lasted until about 4 months ago, so it could not be due to a new lifestyle of eating habits in exercise. If anything I have been eating more. I run about 5 miles a day and work out for 45 minutes after. I have been experiencing extreme cramping on the left side of my lower abdominal region for about 4 days. I am worried it could be a cyst, but am currently not insured and my annual is not until July. I do not want to wait that long, it is now late May. How long should I wait until scheduling an appointment, as it will cost hundreds.

Based on other posts - and this one - I smell a troll.

I am not even aware of the term "troll." This is my first time on this cite. Just because someone has not gotten their period does not mean they are pregnant, they must have sex in order to be pregnant. My concern is over a cyst. I am wondering how long I should wait and when it becomes dangerous. Of course there was no contraceptive, because there was no sex, unless I am the virgin Mary that question is irrelevant. I am having a health problem not "trolling" whatever that reference even means via discussion centers for help. I smell someone useless. I am using this because I don't have health insurance and would like the advise of seemingly useful people because this cite is supposed to be full of thousands of people. I thought one person might understand my symptoms and give me some reliable feedback. Thank you for your help...

First, may I call your attention to the guidelines for using the comments feature found here:

https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/feedback/using-comments-feature-24951.html

You twice used the rating/comment feature inappropriately. People can make mistakes in responding, that doesn't mean you should rate them in violation of the rules. Also, if you feel a response violates our rules, then report it.

First of all, you never once stated that you were a virgin. So it's not that out-of-line for people to assume that pregnancy is a possibility.

Unfortunately, no one can diagnose you over the Internet. We could tell you that you're fine and have nothing to worry about, only to have you die in the next few weeks. We could tell you you're going to die and are in immediate danger, only to have it be a pulled muscle. We're not doctors and have no way of determining through a computer screen what's going on inside of your body.

I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment with a doctor immediately to rule out anything harmful.

Read the thread and my comment again. First, you misused the rating system.

Second - and most importantly - I wasn't talking to you. I was addressing Arabian Doctor who is diagnosing and prescribing without benefit of actually seeing the "patient." I have no idea why you would just assume I was calling you a troll and take such great offense.

I have no idea why you over reacted in this way unless something in your posts doesn't add up.

EDIT: Your questions was answered based on the info you posted. It is not unusual or bizarre to question whether you are pregnant because you did not address the "sex/virginity" question.

If you are experiencing extreme pain, for four days no less, it would be wise to be seen. Yes, it could be due to an ovarian cyst, but you would want to know for sure and to rule out any other possible concerns.

You might inquire at a local health department, or check with your own doctor about a payment plan.
