A real friend would be there for you, generally speaking.

Can you clearify upset?

How are you upset?

A friend would normally support you and help you through difficult times. However, friendship is not one-sided. If all you are bringing to the relationship are your issues and worried, and their only role has been to listen and support you, they may be tired of it. If one person is doing all of the giving and the other is doing all of the taking, then only one of those people is actually being a friend. (Hint,: its not the taker)We would need more information to give you a better answer, but there are situations, where for their own mental health and sanity, true friends actually do walk away.

No, a real friend wouldn't leave you they would be there for you as much as possible and try to help you get through everything.

Well even friendships have limits, and they may still be a friend, but also tired of a lot of drama perhaps and if a person is always upset, or not realistic, depending on age and how long a person was a friend, I can see them becoming more distant after a while
