I have been served a summons to respond to wis ch 802. Read the stats but not much help. I have 6 more days to get this filed. My wife filed a divorce against me and we have had our first hearing this week. It is an uncontested divorce that involves no children. The hearing was fair in her asking for her things and division of our assets. We just want debt paid and the property divided. I have no attorney because I have no money to pay for one. She has a lawyer. How do I respond with written answer to the summons?

If you're not contesting it, then show up for the hearing and state the same as you did here - you would like property divided and debt to be paid accordingly. You don't have to file a written answer.

If she has a lawyer, I'd recommend getting one just so you understand what's what in the courtroom. If you can't afford one, then you can't - just make sure you double-check anything and everything before you sign it and/or agree to it in court.
