I always hear a creaking door sound when I am on the internet (door opening & closing), does anybody know what this is ?

If you have sounds enabled on chat or AOL its most likely someone's signature sound

If I recall correctly it is the sound of someone in Yahoo who is or possibly was on a friend list coming and going online and off too. Its been a long time since I yahoo'd LOL.

Try restarting your computer, it's a log off alert for a messenger program. Restart your PC, that should work.

If you have Yahoo Messenger, then it is probably someone closing out(going off) that is on your friends list. You can change that in Preferences in Yahoo Messenger, and set it to different sounds. But that is what it sounds like, because I had that, when someone comes on or goes off, the door would creak open or slam shut. Hope this helps.
