Hi, it appears that my pond pump plug got wet at the outlet and is not working,
I unplugged it, and plugged in my air filter and it works with that,
Will replacing the plug on the pump allow it to work again?
Thanks for your help

Do you have a volt meter?

If you do, test for voltage at the pump.

The problem is that a short at the receptacle may have taken out the transformer or pump motor.

If you do not have trouble shooting experience you may want to get a licensed electrician to diagnose and fix the failure.

My thinking water and an inexperienced electrician can spell injury or death.

Gwen, do not replace your plug but do listen to Don. A wet plug does not mean its dead, maybe tripped the GFCI breaker
