I saw this film once, but was so long ago I cannot think what it was called. One of the scenes, I think near the beginning features some African kids in a street. This street maybe In new York or Chicago, but I'm not that sure. One of the two boys fighting takes off his belt to use it as a weapon, but then a minor comes onto the screen holding a gun with two hands, barely able to hold it, and fires it at the opposing kid that this belt wielding child is going to fight. This is, I think how the scene goes. I know a bit into the film, someone's friend gets shot while running away from the police, and his friend is quite upset.

Another a scene, I don't know if it helps, shows another older kid, listening to his Walkman sitting down in front of an apartment door. It's quite run Down.
