My brother was a felony first offender for burglary. He had six years of probation. A year has passed so he only has 5 now. He was just charged with a. Can the ssault and cruelty to children and is being held on a probation hold. The county he committed the crime has set a bond. Is there any chane the probation officer can release the hold and let him be released to family until the court date. Can the victim speak with the probation officer and have any influence on the decision.

If he assaulted a child why would the family want him out,

But no, he will have to appear before the court for violation of his probation. And judges do not take harm to children lightly, so expect them to most likely revolk probation and send him back to prison

No he didn't assault the child. The assault happened in front of the child. He never went to prison he was under the first ofender law and just received that probation time.
