I'm from China, and married to a Catholic guy but, I met a Muslim man from Egypt and I love him so much and married him when I went to Egypt. My question is since I got married in Egypt and did Muslim marriage is it automatic that I'm not married anymore to my Catholic husband?

I want to convert to be Muslim. They said if I married a muslim man I'm automatically converted to Islam, is it correct? Do I need to divorce my Catholic husband, or not anymore.

I married an Egyptian Muslim guy but, I left Egypt after a week because I need to work outside Egypt, what are the process to make me live legally in Egypt, where will I go to process these if ever.

Can not speak for legal side, but you need to divorce the one before any marriage to the second one could be valid. And then remarry the second one after the divorce.

The "invalid" for religious reasons would not hold, since your marriage to first was done while Catholic

Might be a little bit more to this than meets the eye. Um like bigamy?

I can only direct you to the Chinese embassy in Cairo, Egypt to straighten your mess out. I don't think marriage makes a divorce legal or binding, nor give you automatic citizenship.

The way I see your situation is you have done nothing legal, and are still married to the catholic guy, illegally married to the muslim guy, and may be an illegal immigrant, where ever you are. Does your marriage change your immigration status, not if its illegal in the first place, which I think it is.

Does your new husband even know about your other husband? I can't see him marrying you if he knew.
