She and I had a close friendship a few months ago but I killed it by being too distant with her. We were pretty much ignoring each other for a long time after that but I was able to rekindle it recently. The catch is that a new boy moved in and she really likes him. I know I like her, but I don't know if she needs another factor in her life. Please help.

It sounds like your ship has sailed. Move on, and leave her to her new boyfriend possibility.

If this was just a close friendship, then don't be jealous of another guy who may, or may not have caught her interest. What are you supposed to be the only guy friend she can have??

I would say, let her know how you feel and see how she responds.

Though if there's a new guy in her life, she'll most likely reject you. Therefore, if you can't handle the rejection, then support her as a friend with this new guy and be happy for her.

You should till her how you feel. Maybe she well feel the same. Don't be afraid on telling her you still like her. But if she's happy then leaver alone because you well get her confused
