Hello, my boyfriend just recently broke out with something on his penis. Its under his penis where his balls are like where they touch;the warm spot.. (sorry for the language).. and he went to the dr. and all they told him was it could be jock itch, syphilis or herpes. But this cannot be. I haven't slept with anyone and I do not have anything like that down their and we used unprotected sex. And I just had 2 pap smires and my results came back normal. But his symptoms are itching, and he literly itch's it so bad that he scaratchs his skin off & then when that happens he says it burns and it looks like a rash.. the dr. gave him cream but it didn't help.. what could this be?

is this an std or jock itch?

You may not have slept with anyone... but its HE who is suffering from this. HE may have slept with someone else.

WHY isn't HE getting the tests done to find what it is?

There is a hell of a lot of difference between Herpes... Syphilis and jock itch.

One can't be cured... one can kill you, and the other is just a major annoyance.
