I have an old scar on my leg about an inch and a half long, and it isn't dark, but.. it shines in the light when I bend my knee and I see it every day, and it reminds me of something I don't want to think about. I really, really, really want that stupid scar gone. -__-;;;; I don't need to get it "lightened" or whatever.. I just want it gone. Is there any way to get rid of a small old scar that doesn't involve surgery? <:C

With things like this I recommend you see a dermatologist or skin care clinic and get treatment or just cover it with concealer/foundation. Thumbs up and hope I helped

I used Contractubex (http://www.merz.com/health/dermatology/scars/contractubex/). I had a scar from surgery stitches and my doctor recommended it to be applied daily. It took some time (I think 3 months at least) but the scar did fade.

The extreme solution is scar revision but then you always risk the possibility of a worse scar. The products already suggested may be great ( I am not familiar with them) but I do know of a homeopathic product that is both effective and safe. It is called "Scar-go" and can be found at Whole Foods and other health food stores and vitamin shops.
Best of luck to you :)
