My son woke up and looked around his room and them started screaming. He is 7 and has austuim. He said there was a blackman in his room. He couldn't see a face or any thing and was very scared and shaking. He has been grumpy and not himself since. I was wondering what all this means and what is the best way to clean his room and my house. Thanks Kerry

It sounds as though he simply had a bad dream. It happens.

How do you usually clean your house? Is there some reason you would do it other than how you normally do it? Are you thinking you need to do something different because of what he thinks he saw?

Try not to read more into this than there is.

When you say clean his room and your house I assume you mean spiritually. Could this be a bad dream? Yes. Could is be something else? Yes.

You said he doesn't seem like himself lately? Having autism, how is he different than how he usually is? Autistic and special needs children can be a prime target for this type of spiritual activity. Simply put, they are an easy target.

We can discuss this more if you'd like. But it is possible that this was just a bad dream. It's up to your personal discernment at this point as a parent.

Hello blackman,

I agree it could be just a bad dream. Autistic children can become moody or even changes could take plaace according to what he saw or his activity before this took place. As to spiritually speaking if you are speaking of demons, then think about what you have in your house. Anything new brought into the home that may be against God's laws?

Children tend to see things differently then adults, maybe something he saw or heard gave him scarry thoughts or dreams.

There is though the possibility that he did see someone. That has been known to happen with different households. Not to scare you, but check his room and make surre no one could gain acsess without you knowing. ( Just a thought) Most likely he just had a bad dream

Take care,
