I have ben trying to concive for almost 7 months now me and my fiancé have been together for three years now and were starting to think its because of me being on the depo shot for 9 years is that the problem or one of the reason why I can't get pregnant

It is possible. Are you having regular menstrual cycles? Some women will find it can take a year or more after the last injection before they conceive.
It may just be timing, and all of the other factors that go into conceiving, haven't been lined up just yet.
Most couples will conceive within the first year of trying, but it can take some a bit longer just naturally even when depo hadn't been in the picture.
Have you been able to determine when you are most likely ovulating? Are you able to have sex on a regular basis each cycle? As you are trying to conceive, be sure that you and your fiancé are doing all that you can to insure healthy lifestyle choices. That would include a prenatal, or multivitamin, vitamin for you.
