I was terminated from Ryla Teleservices on 2/23/2011 and I have yet to receive my COBRA election notice... The company employed over 600 employees, and I was terminated for Attendance not "Gross Misconduct"... It is Now 5/3/2011 I have a Emergency Health Condition and I need health coverage... I have called and visited my previous place of employment several times with no help, other than its in the mail... I have envolved my local EBSA(US Dept of Labor) but Ryla is not returning their calls either... Do I have a case to Sue?

Have you contacted the health insurance company and notified them that you wanted Cobra,
1. obviously you know there are benefits
2. and you would know who the company is.
But you can sue only have you have loss money because of this.

I actually went to the Administration office of my Health Care provider which is Kaiser, But they advised me that its my Employer's job to send the notification to them that I was terminated... Im assuming that (Ryla Teleservices) my employer has not done that...
