I need a historically accurate movie about some event in the 20th century. I need to write a review on one. But I cannot think of any.

OK 1900 through 1999 and you can't think of an accurate movie from that time frame, there are lots. The first one I read/saw as a kid was "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo" How about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papillon_(film) Both were books and movies.

A few that come to mind are:

"Apollo 13," like the title says...

"Tora, Tora, Tora," about the bombing of Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941

"The Longest Day," about the D-Day invasion of Normandy by the Allies on June 6, 1944.

"Nixon," about the David Frost interviews that were conducted shortly after Nixon resigned.

"The Killing Fields," about the massacres in Cambodia by the Khmer Rouge in the mid-late 70's.
