I just got my tongue pierced 3 days ago. Some people told me I could smoke as long as I rinsed my mouth out. I suck on ice cubes allll the time. My tongue is still swollen. I take pain medication & wash my mouth to a day like I'm suppose to. The swelling just won't go down. What can I do to help it?

The majority of the swelling will go down in about another 4 days or so, you just need to be patient. You're taking good care of it so far so well done for that. To answer your question, I ate tomato soup two days after I got it pierced and it was fine, then gradually worked it up to mashed potato, bread and butter, jelly, etc. good luck.

Im on my second day and my swelling is starting to go down. It all depends on the person, although you may not want to smoke until your piercing is fully healed. Why risk the healing process for a little puff? As far as your question goes for the tomato soup, you can practically eat whatever you like (no dairy or spicy foods) as long as you chew slowly in the back and swallow normally. Hope this helps! :)
