I have a 50 amp main panel in my home and I need at least 115 amps.

50 Amps is very inadequate today. How old is the house? If your main is indeed 50, that's all you will get through it because the breaker will trip. Adding a subpanel will not get you more than 50 AMps. Upgrade to 150Amps.

Upgrade to 200 amps, 150 amp panel is more costly than a 200 Amp panel and you will end up using a 200 amp meter socket.
