What can I do about a neighbors home which is sitting directly on the property line between the two properties. This information just came to my attention during a recent survey that I had done for my own piece of property. The neighbor and I both bought our property over 30 years ago without this knowledge. I also have a problem with an easement (main sewer line) that is running underneath my dining room and living room. I have found out from title search papers that this information was not disclosed to me at the time of the purchase of my home. Do I have any type of recourse to help remedy these problems?

Did you have a survey on the property when you originally bought it, was there title insurance at the time of purchase?

Most likely the neighbor has a good case to get extra feet of land added to his deed since he had use of it for so long.
He needs to consult an attorney.
Most likely you can be a good neighbor since you had assumed a specific line of the border, is to set a new line, and have it surveyed and deeded over to them to put his home squarely on his property

If you did not have a title search done and purchase title insurance then you are most likely out of luck. If you try to claim the land that the neighbor's house is on, he can fight it in court and probably win under the laws of adverse possession.

True but that law varies from state to state so OP needs to tell us where he lives.
