I didn't think I was that heavy... like I'm not really I've just really in need o trimming weight and toning up lol... I just hold a lot of weight around my stomach, *** and thighs and my upper arms too... whats the best way to lose weight other then press ups and sit ups because I'm literally not able to... ive not got the upper body strength to do it... also I cnt afford a gym

Start small and work your way up. If you can't do a full push up, then start by doing incline push ups. You can do those on anything-start by using the kitchen counter or dining room table, that will be the easiest. Then you can move to the couch or bed, and eventually to the floor. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. (http://www.fatbellyexercises.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/InclinePushUp.jpg)

Gyms are expensive, but dumbbells (or mock dumb bells even) aren't! At work, I actually use full water bottles to do some weights. At the gym, I use 5 pound weights for aerobics and 10 pound weights for strength training. It's not the number that matters, but the quality of the work out that will give you definition and strength. Once you build up those small weights and incline push ups, you'll get stronger.

For stomach strength, again start small. If you can't do a full sit up, do crunches, bicycle kicks, and vertical leg lifts. While supporting yourself with one hand on the wall or other object, lift each leg in turn to a ninety degree angle. The top part of your leg should be horizontal, and the bottom part should be vertical like your upper body. Only focus on your abdomen while lifting your legs, and don't depend on inertia or your leg muscles to do the lifts. Again, you'll eventually be able to gain strength enough to do sit ups.

Go for walks, jogs, or runs in your neighborhood. If you live in an area around hiking trails, go for a hike. Go swimming at a lake or in the ocean. If you have pets, use them as work out buddies when going for walks.

Look for fitness programs in your area. The health center at my college, for example, held free dance, pilates, and yoga classes for anyone to take.

As for other ways to control your weight-look at your diet. Make sure you're eating 3-5 meals a day (if 5, make sure they're smaller). Eat only minimal amounts of sugar and oil. Try and avoid processed foods and high fat content foods like cheese.

You can get your protein from nuts, beans, certain vegetables, and eggs. Fruit is a great source of fiber which will help your body to process all of the other food. Plan out your meals in advance (I plan out a week in advance) so that you're not stuck doing something unhealthy like going to get fast food, making nachos, cooking up a pizza, etc.

Drink LOTS of water! And good luck!

You don't need to go to a gym to lose weight!
First of all drink water. Clear all the junk food OUT of your house. Etc
Walk up and down the stairs for 10min,. u lose 100 calories. Walking around the house non-stop for 1 hr or so.. makes u lose around 300 calories whihch is practically one large packet of fries at mcdonalds! :D
Do crunches. Xx
