My desktop will not allow me in with my password but the laptop will. They both have same password?

They might have the same password they are not the same machines. I ind I miss most of muy login attempts because of errors in the username not the password. Verify your username and try again. There are utilities that will allow you to change Windows login passwords if it is truly lost or forgotten. Remember to always user a "Hard" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Password_strength) password. It is also a good idea not to use passwords on more than one computer or account.

Are these personal computers or coporate?
