My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year. Within that year he would look at other girls body and say "why can't you have those?" preferably looking at huge boobs or butt. It really hurts because it makes me feel not good enough. Probably within our whole relationship he complimented me only twice on my looks. I think and so do other guys think I'm attractive but his opinion ultimately means the most to me. I don't know what to do because every time I try to talk about it he just says "you know I'm joking". What should do? It even makes it harder for me to get intimate with him because when we do he never "finishes".

I don't see the relationship between he joking around about how your body is not good enough for him and him not being able to "finish". Perhaps there are two problems there instead of one?

If he says that he is joking around then sit down with him, have a chat, and tell him how he is making you feel when he says those sort of things. If he is not understanding and doesn't stop then drop that @$$hole and go for someone who is actually going to care the least about you. As far as finishing there is really no way to tell why, maybe he's gay? ;)

Good Luck,
Javi

Why do you put up with that kind of bad behavior from him?

Joking or Not, those comments are immature and unnecessary. How long have you been with you BF? Hold old is your BF.

My Wife and I, from First date to now, have been together for 6 years. I make it a point to compliment her. I randomly send her flowers for no reason. It's not that she "needs" it, but she comes home with a big smile, and it's nice to see.

In my opinion, you should call him out next time he does it, and let him know, joking or not, it is not cool and you he should stop. If he doesn't stop, why stay with someone who is always going to compare you to someone else "wishing" you could be like them.
