Went to start my 91 civic that has a 89 crx motor in it yesterday and it will crank but doesn't sound like I'm getting any spark. I am told by the auto store that it is either the ignitor or the coil. I thought the ignitor took the place of the coil. Shows how much I know. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:
