Okay, some of your terminology has me confused. He "busted" in you?

I'm assuming you mean that he ejaculated in you, and then that same day you started spotting. No, you don't have a higher chance of getting pregnant if you start spotting after sex. You do have a higher chance of getting pregnant because he ejaculated in you.

If you're not trying to conceive then why are you having unprotected sex?

If the spotting did happen to be associated with your ovulation, then certainly there is a chance of pregnancy, but even with good timing, pregnancy is not definite.

If you spotted after the sex, then it could just as likely be due to that.

What you read about is the general time frame in which many women will ovulate, so that is why the chances increase. However, not everyone ovulates within that time frame.

You'll now need to wait and see what happens when your next period would be due.

As both Alty and J_9 said, if you aren't trying to become pregnant, obviously use protection every time to lessen the odds.
