Hello. I need help, this is driving me nuts. I must be missing something. I have a Netgear Gateway router and I am able to connect it to my PC and access the internet, but I am trying to get my laptop to work wirelessly. It has built in wifi so I must not be setting it up properly. Can someone walk me through step by step how to do this so I can use my laptop throughout my house? Greatly appreciated...

If you give us the model number of your router and the Operating System of your laptop and your address and bank account numbers (last part was a joke!) than we can walk you step by step through this... until then there's not much we can do!

First off get the laptop started and make sure your wireless is "on". Next check to see what connections are available. Its usually located in the task bar. If you have a secure connection then be sure to have the needed passwords for it. When you connect you can choose "home connection automatically connect".
