Not sure how to calculate cash dividends.

Say for ex. A company has two main shareholders one at 51%, and other at 49%. There was cash dividends paid out at $79000.

Would you calculate 51% x 79000

Pro rata basis unless there are papers to show otherwise. 51%X79,000 and 49%X79,000
