I have a 95 civic dx. It doesn't want to starts right away have to keep trying cranking for few times to starts. After when is warm up it starts fine but sometime I have to crank it again to starts.
I wounder if anyone can help me out fixing this car. What parts I should check first?? thanks you

If the CEL consistentaly comes on and then goes out after 2 seconds, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II), then the problem is likely distributor related. Begin by replacing the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

If the problem persists, consider installing the new ICM and coil in a new genuine Honda distributor housing--all others are suspect.

Ensure the spark plugs (NGK only) have been changed in the last 30,000 miles.
