Trying to sell my 94 accord but whenever someone comes to look at it they don't buy it because it won't start back up. Starts right up in the morning and when I get out of work but if I turn it off to pump gas or run into the store I have to wait about 10 minutes before it will start up again. Sometimes it will try and turn over but will make a "popping" sound if I give it gas. I would like to tell perspective buyers what the problem is and how expensive it would be. Thanks

I would replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

If the problem persists, replace the main relay. Regardless, it's a simple problem to solve and don't sell the car to cheaply because of it. Your problem is a common one on older cars of that generation. One of these recommendations will solve the problem.

Thanks! I included this info in my craigslist post. Got offered 1100 today and they left when it wouldn't start back up. I don't want to put anymore money into it so maybe a mechanic will see the value in the car
