Okay so today I took my Siberian dwarf hamster out to clean her cage and found a large bump (about the same size as her nose or eye) on the right side of her nose kind of near her eye. It sort of looks like she ruffled the fur up there, but I tried to smooth it out and she squirmed when I did. I'm not sure if she's in pain, she doesn't usually enjoy people touching her face anyway, but I'm worried. Daisy is acting completely normal, and I've had her for about a year. I showed my mom and she said if it got any worse or didn't seem to get any better she would call the vet on Monday. The skin around her right eye looks sort of red and irritated as well. I read that hamsters often get cysts and tumors, but if anyone knows about anything I should do that could help her I'll be very grateful!! I'm going to make sure no one messes with her tomorrow other than me, as my cousins are coming over and often like to go in my room and fool around (well at least the boys do, and one of them always searches for the mythical 'diary' that I apparently have hidden somewhere). She has a log in her cage that she could chew, and her house is one of those edible ones, so I'm pretty sure she doesn't chew on the bars or ladders. Also I've never seen her chew anything like that before. I suppose she could've slipped on one of the ladders and hit her nose. I'm just worried (probably over nothing) so if anyone knows anything, thanks in advance :)
