My brother and I own a cabinet shop (no employees ) called 'Sawyers cabinets' . I received a wage garnishment WITH SAWYERS CABINETS AS EMPLOYER AND ME AS DEFENDANT is this legal?

Yes it may be. But if you do not draw a salary there are no wages to garnish. You can respond to the court that you do not draw a salary.
