How can I reinstall os on my acer aspire 1410? There is no cd drive only usb and hdmi plug? Can I conect it usb to usb to my lap top or desktop?

I have a acer aspire 1410 running win vista. I forgt my password and lost my backup note where I had it written down. I didn't put a hint for the password, so I can't try that. There is no cd drive only usb please help!
