My question is this... I currently have a 401K with a loan out also. And I do not know what I need to do. I want to dlose the loan down, pay out what I owe, see what I owe in back taxes and then cmut mhy losses and hope fully walk a way with some money?? After I pay the govt. what he has coming to him/er... my question... is this legal? Can a person just do this? I do not think I am going into another business type of a job for a while.

What doI do.. hheleeeelp. It won't be for about a year... but these things tend to creep up on us fast.

I am sorry if I don't completely follow what you want to do ?

You have a 401 K, normally you can't cash it in unless you leave that job, or have one of the listed reasons to cash it in. If you have enough money in it, it is your money and if you meet the rules of the 401 K you can take the money out if you want to.
