Must a trophy wife be pretty at home, in addition to being pretty outside the home and being exempt from cooking and cleaning?

A trophy wife should be gorgeous at all times, always prepared to be the arm candy her husband married her for. She should never have an opinion, she shouldn't have a single thought in her empty little head. Her only purpose is to be beautiful and make her husband look good.

It's not a lot of work really. If this is what she signed up for then that's her job. It's not like her husband married her for her brain. ;)

Trophy wives must also be very high maintenance, enjoy spending your money on herself, and expects you to bow down to her every wish without ever so much as a simple thank you. It's all in her job description!

Zy, seems your perception is correct:

Urban Dictionary: trophy wife (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=trophy%20wife)

Providing you are the older, wealthy man that can provide the funds to allow her to be pretty and not work, provide nanny and domestic help to insure the trophy wife can keep up her regiment of not needing to work in or out of the home.

When the trophy does get old, worn out, not "shiny" any longer, simply discard the older one and find a new one.

This practice is done all too often nowadays.

I put my wife of 36 years on a pedestal, but she is not a trophy wife. If I thought of discarding her, my skull would be caved in by a heavy trophy, or whatever heavy blunt object she could put her hands on.

And don't let your wife get to be a black belt, we sparred yesterday and the only trophy she wanted was my head I think.

But there is a line, for example, a husband is often proud of his wife,
