I have a Kenmore washer model 11082873830 in service for 19 years. It quit agitating ans will not spin, but still cycles and pumps the water. I've checked the lid switch, timer, and motor and all work fine. No unusual noise when it runs through the cycles, sound like normal operation, But doesn't work.
Should I look at the clutch assembly, the gearcase assembly or perhaps the brake & drive assembly next?
Is it difficult to repair these items?
Or should I replace the washer?
Any help appreciated.

After 19 years PTL and get a new one.

Check the motor coupling between the motor and the transmission. It takes the place of a belt and is the most likely cause.
