There's this movie that was my FAVORITE as a kid. I think it's from the 80's or 90's. This is basically the plot.
There are these two kids, a brother and sister, and they're shipped off to a grandma's farm for the summer. The brother accidentally steps into a fairy ring and is whisked away to the Fairy Realm. He eats the food before his sister gets there, and they are stuck forever. However, the Fairy King pities them, and instead gives them tasks to do. Their cousin (it might not be, though) comes to get them, and the king falls in love with her. Suddenly, all the kids' tasks become tied to the king and the farmhand.
Later, the king's evil brother kidnaps the farmhand's sister's baby. She (farmhand) gives the brother the Magical Orb-Staff thing that (she didn't know this) keeps the fairies young and powerful. The two kids then steal it back. Yeah...
