I caught a field mouse in my house and want to let it go. Can I leave it in any field or is there a recue for them?

It is a field mouse, release it back into its natural habitat, any field.

As long as it isn't near any farm land or on private property just let it go somewhere it has cover.

Sadly there are no rescues for them. Any rescue that would be willing to take the mouse would likely use it for food for their other animals.

As the others have said, as long as the mouse has cover, a field is the best alternative, or a forest. :)

Let it lose like the others said in a forset of field but remember not to let it near a house others will just kill what you tried to save. Also it's not fair cause thou they are cute little creachers they are nasty and can be pest. Thanks for loving all creachers great and small
