I was on depo for about 3 years. I am now twenty. I have been off for about three months and the last two months I have pretty much been bleeding daily. Cramps also almost daily. Finally this last weekend I had a stomach ache and was throwing up a bit one night. The bleeding isn't really heavy, but for the 3 years I was on depo I would bleed like 3 days out of 3 months, so its not what I'm used to at all. Is it really STILL normal after 60 days straight?

It may be, depo can really throw some women's systems off, but certainly it would be wise to see your doctor to have other possible causes ruled out. I wouldn't just assume that it is from the depo and ignore it.

I was the same way. Your body is just trying to adjust. Think about it, you didn't have an actual period the whole 3 years you were on it. (if like me, you just bled the few days before it was due.) the lining of your uterus is just shedding. Don't worry it will stop sometime in the next 3 months. To help get the depo shot out of your system a little faster, Drink cranberry juice and lots of water daily. It can't hurt. I don't think the throwing up has anything to do with the depo. Not unless you are bleeding super heavy and becoming anemic. Take cake and Good luck! :)
