God I hope I don't sound too ridiculous! But here goes, I'm convinced I'm gone a little bit stupid since I got pregnant LOL... my spelling is out of wack most of the time, I put milk in the frying pan, I put a tea-bag in a bowl meant for cereal, oh and I also put a tea-bag in the dishwasher one time, I'm always stopping mid-sentence forgetting what I was saying and I also keep forgetting important errands (I never forget!)... theres a list that can go on forever!
Is this normal? Can you actually go a bit wacko in pregnancy?

You have to remember that your hormones are going crazy now and also your body is under stress of carrying a child. Those factors alone are enough to have changes in the thinking process.
Just be aware and roll with it as best as you can. If it does get worse see your doctor and they can run a blood test to see that your getting enough oxygen.

I had the weirdest dreams when I was pregnant, also mood swings that would make your head spin.
I also became a little ditsy, losing my train of thought etc, making lists helped but that turned into an on going freaking addiction.
As califdadof3 suggested run it by your doctor to ease your mind.

Do you know I think you might be right about the oxygen thing, I was only telling my boyfriend the other morning I'm finding it hard to breath, I have to keep taking big gasps of air and the dizziness still hasn't subsided even though I'm taking a multi vitamin with iron, hmm I think a trip to the doctor is called for, thanks guys :)

You know the phrase "eating for two". Well you are also thinking for two. You have to share your brain cells with the fetus until it has developed its own. The fetus is feeding off your synapses slowing your brain processes.
Ok, so I'm 2 days late for 4/1 ;) But it sounds as good an explanation as any.

Just wait, it gets worse after you give birth from all the brain cells you push out as well... :)
ScottGem was referring to April 1st being "April Fool's Day"!

Oh haha, we always put the date/month/year in that order here in ireland not month/date/year. I get it now! ;)
