View Full Version : Is this a good way to get rid of fat?

Some time ago, I started losing weight. I used to be a huge fan of candy, beer and soda. I cut all of this out, but I kept eating the good things like meat and salad and fruit - in total about 1100 cals a day. My BMR is calculated to 2200 cals.
I lose about 1 pound of weight (started of at 250) every single day... Am I losing fat or am I losing muscle? I'm real scared if I'm doing it right... could someone tell me please?

You are losing weight awfully fast, with worries me. However, you have a healthy intake of calories. Cutting all the soda, candy etc is very very good for your health and it is a good start for losing weight. Maybe your fast weight loss is because you just started this new diet.. If the fast weight loss continues, go see a doctor. Congratulations on cutting the junk food out of your life though! Keep at it.
