I feel so so so bad. I just lied to my best friend. What happened was she told me a secret that her best frined stole a wallet from the guy she likes and spent the money. She told me this but I didn't hear her say I couldn't tell anyone. So I told the guy because I thought he should know.. and I thought he wouldn't tell anyone but in the wallet there was like $500 so it was also stealing. He said he wants to tell the teachers and get the girl expelled I told him no and am so scared right now. I just told my best friend that I told him. She was so upset she was like "NO OMG NO NO NO" "I SWORE TO HER I WOULDNTT TELL" and then she went offline.
I can't eplxina how bad I feel I just wish today never happened. What should I do? Please please please help me I will never ever lie again. Omg omgog I feel so bad my best friend is so mad at me :'( She is the only friend I have!

Huh? You didn't lie to anyone! You told the truth and guess what.. id of done the same thing! We all have our secrets and we all sometimes tell our friends our secrets but if the secret is going to have an emotional effect on you and your beliefs and make you feel bad in yourself then you shouldn't keep it! It's a burden, and your friend clearly couldn't keep it to herself either...

So if she thinks you did wrong, then it makes her worng too... but to be honest, niether of you done wrong, this person that stole someone's money is scum! And not only has she hurt this guy, she has caused problems with you and your friend too.

You need to tell an adult about this person who is a thief. They need to be punished before they do it again.

There are some things that you tell, and some that you don't . When someone is breaking the law, you tell an adult. This person was breaking the law.

But she's my best friend.. I can't just tell on her.. Ill think about it. But thank you so much for replying. <3

She might be your best friend, but she is a thief and she broke the law. She needs to be punished. Would you keep it a secret if she murdered someone just because she is your "best friend?"

It might be time to look for a friend who is not bad news. Eventually she will get you into trouble too.

LOL I'm glad I helped, on a more serious note, J_9 is right, she broke the law and you should seriously keep your distance from her, she will eventually get you in to trouble too, keeping these kind of secrets means you are just as involved, well that's how the law see it! You seem like the type of girl that see's the good in everyone, maybe a little niave, that's not a bad thing but it is when your around these type of people... they drag you down and cause drama in your life, something I'm positive you don't like... good luck ;)

Well Like yeah she is a big trouble to like the whole schoool.. she doesn't have many friends like she's so mean if she's not your friend she says really mean things about you behind your back.. and always bullies you! Who gives a dam if she's mad at you! She broke the law, she needs to be punished. If she doesn't learn her lesson now, she could end up in jail when she is an adult.
