Here is another closet flange question. I have a brand new house and a bathroom with the plumbing only roughed in. I decided to tackle the toilet first. I have PVC plumbing for the waste. So I tried to to put a plastic flange with the metal rim on the pipe. They say to dry fit it, before you install it. So I did but it was very tight. I put it on partially and had to nudge it off with a crow bar. So I new I was in for a treat when I would put it on with drying epoxy. Well I did my best... but the result stinks. I tried to push it down as far a possible, hitting it with a mallet before the glue dried. But the flange is not level and has 1/4 inch gap two sides and about 1/16 on the other sides. I have a slate floor around it which is also very unlevel by it's very nature. At this point what should I do?
