The entire question didn't print out. Is this okay or does NFPA or building codes restrict it?

Not to my knowledge,I have been in many hotels(maintenance with Residence Inns)and have seen this in a few,the space constrictions are sometime necessary for the doors to touch.

What is your area?Who is the local code enforcement or building code office?

Thanks for the insight. I live in Montana but don't want to name the Hotel Chain. I asked the local Building Inspector and he said no problems as far as he knows, but I just have a bad feeling about the bath door opening outward into the room and then blocking a wall and having a towel or robe hanging in the entry way to the room. Seems tacky. However, if there isn't a code problem and the owners want it, I will do it. Thanks again.
