I live in Oklahoma and I'm 16 and pregnant. I got pregnant two months after I turned 16. My fiancé is 18. Can I legally move in with him without my dads consent? He has two jobs and is going to be going to college soon. My dad treats me like his wife and has been physically abusive in the past. He wants me to stay living with him and for me to take care of the kid myself.

Tell your parents. Although they may be upset at finding out about this, in the long run, they will want to be a part of their grandchild's life, and they probably will continue to love you.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

OK Does allow for emancipation at 16. But you need parental consent. I can't find anything that would make it automatic due to pregnancy. You would have to go to court to be granted emancipation.

You would also need parental consent to marry.

If you are in an abusive household, go to Family Services. You may be able to get removed to a Foster situation which might pave the way for emancipation.

They already know. My moms not in the situation anymore cause she's an alcoholic and bipolar and has already gone off on me. My dad has known for the past five months I'm 6 months pregnant now. He is planning on me staying at his house and take care of vincent all by myself. There's no way I can do this that's why victors mom (who I already call mom) wants me to live with them cause she will help me with the baby so my grades stay good in skool and it doesn't overwhelm me. My dads trying to say I'm not mature enough to move out and do all this but the thing is he's not letting me grow up. He's trying to keep me from growing up so I can't go anywhere and he will use this in court. If I try to get emancipated he will get his best attorny and I'm afraid I won't win. He threatened that if I try anything like this he will make my life a living hell at his house after its over...
