I have an August 1992 Honda accord. Twice in the last 3 months it was difficult to start. The first time after cleaning the distributer cap with WD40 it started OK. I did not really notice any moisture at that time. Today it was difficult to start and after trying for the 5th time with 2 minutes intervals, it started. Does this engine have a Lambada sensor that might be the intermittent cause?

A bad oxygen sensor is not likely the cause of your problem. Read sections A and B in the link below:

Make sure and run the indicated tests, including the K-Test on your ECM. Due to the age of your Accord, I would replace the igniter, coil, and rotor inside the distributor. Also, you may want to replace the distributor cap and NGK spark plugs.
